What We Have Done

Managing Director's Statement

Mr Simon Peter Ole Nkeri has been appointed the Managing Director of East African Portland Cement Company.
He has previously worked in the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) as a manager. In 2003, he briefly worked as the acting Capital Market Authority (CMA) Chief Executive.

He has also worked for Barclays Bank where he was the head of commercial services.
Mr Nkeri is a holder of an MBA in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham. He pursued his graduate studies at the University of Nairobi and Strathmore Business School.
Mr Nkeri is also an accomplished lawyer and accountant.
Immediately before this new appointment, Mr Nkeri was a special advisor on strategic finance and projects to the CS Industry, Trade and Co-operatives, Mr Adan Mohammed.
He was also appointed by National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich to be a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants for a period of three years with effect from April 1, 2016.
