After the production process is complete, cement is stored in silos, from where it is extracted and packed in specially manufactured paper bags of 50kg or 25kg.
The bags are imprinted with the brand name “Blue Triangle Cement” and also bear the diamond mark of quality authenticated by the Kenya Bureau of Standards.
The automated packing machines, with a capacity of 100 tonnes per hour, ensure packing is swift and efficient.
Five per cent of the Blue Triangle Cement is sold in bulk to large-scale building contractors, while the remaining 95% is dispatched in bags.
Transportation is by road and rail. Blue Triangle Cement is both for domestic consumption and export to the East African region.
